Primary Wildlife: Maintained for wintering waterfowl and bald eagles, and nesting Swainson's hawks.

Habitat: 30,180 acres of shrub/steppe upland, one, 730-acre lake, and 17 miles of riparian lands along the Columbia River.

Recreation and Education: Closed to all public access.

Special Note: The area is located within a nuclear reactor control zone and is managed through a permit agreement with the U.S. 89 Department of Energy.
