Directions: Located SE of Pasco off US. Highway 395 just south of the Snake River.

Primary Wildlife: A resting and feeding area for up to 100,000 migrating waterfowl. Canada geese, mallards, American wigeon, and pintails, along with lesser numbers of tundra swans, snow geese, green-winged teals, Northern shovelers, canvasbacks, redheads, ring-necked ducks, and lesser scaup have population peaks on the refuge in November. Long-billed curlews and white pelicans are spring and summer residents.

Habitat: 3,629 acres of water and marsh, croplands, grasslands, trees, and shrubs.

Recreation and Education: Wildlife observation, study, and photography. Self-guided wildlife trail. Waterfowl and upland bird hunting. Fishing for largemouth black bass, catfish, and crappie.
