Directions: Exit Highway 70 at mile marker 246, go on Eagle Drive (100 Ft), turn left on Apache Blvd. 0.3 mile, turn right on Rainbow Drive to Hatchery.

Primary Function: Stocking of trout on the Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation and in other Indian waters throughout New Mexico.

Recreation and Education: Instructional Visitor Center, walk through hatchery.

Habitat: Ponderosa Pine - Oak Woodland.

Special Note: The Hatchery is developing broadstock for the endangered Gila trout, and also holding the Rio Grande cutthroat trout (New Mexico State Fish).
