Azalea Campground
A medium-sized campground with all the modern conveniences of your average suburb, this spot is popular among horse aficionados because of the nearby riding facilities. If you're here for the sequoias, you'll appreciate the fact that the campground is nestled in a massive grove. Busy but beautiful hiking trails start nearby. Open year-round.

Crystal Springs Campground
Thanks to its small capacity and no-RV policy, this is the most natural feeling campground in Cedar Grove. Its many amenities range from flush toilets to ranger programs, but the reason to camp here is easy access to scenic drives and rigorous hikes around the nearby gorge. Open mid-May through late September.

Sunset Campground
In the peak of summer, this big, crowded campground can feel downright municipal. Since it offers the easiest access from Hwy 180, RVs have a clear road all the way from Fresno. But it's not all bad - you can walk to the giant sequoias in minutes and follow the popular trails for hours. Open late May through mid-September.
