Around the Forest

Accessible from highways 199 and 101, the forest is more than 5 hours from any major cities, which makes it a secluded, lightly trafficked forest. It is 330 miles from Portland, OR, and 370 miles from San Francisco. Closer towns include Redding, CA and Brookings and Grants Pass in OR. Local comforts can be found in Gasquet, CA.
