Biscayne

The leitmotif of Biscayne is water, water so clear you can see for miles and so blue it makes the sky look washed out. The subtropical setting abounds with mangroves, seagrasses, coral, islands, and a stunning diversity of marine life—water accounts for 95% of the park's area.

All that water makes for some seriously spectacular year-round fishing. More than 250 species of fish make their home here. In the bay, you'll be angling for snapper, grouper, and sea trout, while on the ocean you'll be going after hogfish and tuna. When hanging around the reefs, prepare to be stunned by the fabulously colored fish—take some time away from angling to float among these fantastical creatures and just admire the view.
