GORP Tested: Alpine Packs
Serratus Superlite
By Paul Cleveland
 Serratus Superlite
|
"A comfortable-fitting pack that's essentially a big sack perfect for jamming my gear into," is how one tester described the Superlite. Instead of a gaggle of pack-sack features you rarely use, Serratus put that weight into a comfortable, functional suspension system. Good thing, because the Superlite is cavernous. This pack was one of Becky's top three selections, deeming it a good choice for multiple-day outings involving a lengthy approach hike.
The Serratus is an economical choice definitely worth a serious look if you don't want or need the added features of a tricked-out pack.
