Out and About in Wild Washington
By Dan A. Nelson

Sometimes it seems impossible to choose a family outing that makes everyone happy.

Mount Rainier
Hit the highway, Seattle!

You may want to hike. Your spouse may prefer bicycling. The boys want to fish, while the girls want to kayak.

What do you do?

Head to Seattle, of course.

Nestled between the briny waters of Puget Sound and the lofty peaks of the Cascades, Seattle offers a plethora of outdoor experiences. You can play in the snow in the morning, stroll through wildflower meadows at mid-day, and enjoy a sunset swim in the Sound or a nearby fresh-water lake, all in the same day.

Hey, is everybody happy?
