Do you know of any resort in Colorado where I could go mountain biking and check my 5-year-old into some kind of organized camp setting?

Tab's Question:

Do you know of any resort or accommodation in Colorado that would allow me to go mountain biking while I can check my 5-year-old daughter into some kind of organized camp setting for a good part of the day? I would like this camp to have different activities so my daughter could be active throughout the day.

Alice's Answer:

I checked with the folks in GORP's Colorado travel office, who suggested the King Mountain Ranch in Granby. This ranch resort is surrounded by the Arapaho National Forest deep in the Rocky Mountains. It's 43 miles from the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and about two-and-a-half hours away from Denver International Airport.

Children ages 4 through 12 are eligible for the children's program in the activity center, known as Foxes Den (open June 11 to August 27). There are kids' rides, hikes of varying lengths, marshmallow roasts, scavenger hunts, swimming, fishing and games. Kids can eat lunch and dinner with the counselors, and there are dinner cookouts throughout the week.

Sounds great to me, Tab. Of course, accommodations and children's programs like this are hardly cheap.
