American Birding Association - dedicated to increasing the knowledge, skills, and enjoyment of birding for active birders. Also contributes to bird conservation.
National Audubon Society - includes information about the organization and the conservation causes it supports. Also includes links to local Audubon chapter websites.
National Bird Feed Society - non-profit organization dedicated to making bird feeding better - - for people and the birds. Through education and research, the Society helps people improve the environment where its closest and easiest to do, right outside their own back doors.
National Fish and Wildlife Foundation - Non-profit organization promoting creative and sustainable solutions for fish, wildlife, and plant conservation. Site includes newsletter archive, list of birding festivals and information on conservation projects and grants.
Hummingbird Society - nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to encourage international understanding and conservation of hummingbirds. Publishes the"The Hummingbird Connection" (quarterly). Site includes a Hummingbird FAQ and photos.
North American Bluebird Society - Bluebirding resource which include nest box plans, fact sheets, and other resources for folks interested in helping the three species of North American bluebirds and other cavity-nesting bird species.

Eaton Birding Society - Finger Lakes Region of New York State. Detailed information for bird watchers, with useful information for anyone interested in the outdoors.

African Bird Club - Provides a worldwide focus for African ornithology.
BirdLife South Africa - One of the oldest ornithological societies in the world dedicated to helping the public understand/enjoy birds and to the study/protection of birds and their environments. The group has contributed hugely to the knowledge of wild birds in southern Africa during the past 60 years.
Hong Kong Bird Watching Society - society aims to share bird and birding information, ideas of conservation, with other birders or people interested in bird. It also responsible for promoting conservation of birds and their habitats in Hong Kong and Asia, and to facilitate and encourage the study of birds in Hong Kong.
