	Many riders' expectations for the day were flip-flopped. The road over McDonald Pass, which many had feared, turned out to be a breeze . . . But Mother Nature had a gut check in mind. . .

Hey Peter King and ALA gang! How's life on the Big Ride? I imagine you're getting pretty adept at picking and packing a tent, Ha! Ha! Well, another Trek Across Maine bicycle ride from the mountains to the sea is over. We rode with approx. 1,638 riders who raised over $1,000,000 helped along the way by 318 volunteers. The first two days were hot and humid and the last day cooler and sunny.
